When Jessica made a post on a Christian Dating Facebook group, she was merely trying to hit her quota of talking with three guys a week. She definitely didn't expect a girl to answer and refer her to a man in Florida.When Sam told God that he "could really use that helpmate now" to assist him in young adult ministry, he didn't expect to be introduced to her by an old college friend the very next night as he was packing for a three week vacation.But that was only the beginning of the story.How could anyone have predicted that Sam would be given the wrong wedding date for his trip, extending a layover he already had in Jessica's hometown? Or that his rental car would be t-boned on the way to the airport, keeping him with her another day? How about Sam sharing his Hawai'ian friend's outrageous offer for Jess to come to Kaua'i and join them horseback riding in Waimea Canyon, because he "thought it was funny", only for her to interpret that as a shy invitation and decide to join him? No one could have predicted God to use a sudden flea infestation in rescued dogs to provide both Sam and Jessica free and luxurious accommodations on Kaua'i for a week, or that her clients would suddenly call her to cancel that weekend but still pay her, allowing her to go there for a week of romance and adventure. And when she said that a request to become his girlfriend would require coffee and flowers, she didn't anticipate him taking her to an entire coffee plantation and crafting her a plumeria lei with his own lei needles.Or perhaps the greatest plot-twist at all: that nerdy Sam would turn out to be such a great kisser, as Jessica discovered at sunset on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world.Yet even that was only the beginning of this story.Can you imagine writing a detailed list of what you are praying for in a spouse, only to discover later that same year that your future spouse had written one too and that you both fit 100% of each other's written descriptions?What would you do if your friend took your girlfriend browsing for wedding dresses at her bridal shop, and then your girlfriend's father bought her wedding dress before you had even met him in person, let alone asked him for her hand?What about that time you introduced your girlfriend to your quiet, introverted family who was suddenly not so quiet and introverted, and your uncle took her to a boxing class at 5am the next day?What if your man led you to believe that he wasn't going to propose any time soon, only to surprise you on a mountain top glacier in New Zealand with a helicopter landing and a stunningly beautiful ring he designed in secret? And that weirdly friendly backpacker guy who was calling himself "Josh" and making you suspicious of his past life? He's your new fiancé's old high school friend flown in to be your photographer.Have you ever dreamed of getting married in a castle? Jessica did. She shared that dream with her Father in heaven. Hi! We're so excited to be celebrating with you in Ireland, and can't wait to welcome you at the Bellingham Castle!
 
All of the rooms at the castle are reserved for our guests: we provide the castle with the room assignments, and guests pay for their stay upon checkout on May 13th (about $294 per night for double occupancy and $271 for single). Feel free to view the castle's <a href="https://www.bellinghamcastle.ie/rooms">website</a> for room pictures.
 
Please reach out to us before booking accommodations for May 11th and May 12th as we are required to book all of the castle rooms for our event and have special rates for room blocks at the nearby <a href="https://www.fairwayshotel.ie/">Fairways Hotel Dundalk</a>.
 
Update: the castle is now fully booked, and we don't have enough people for a room block at Fairways. Reach out if you have questions.

The Fairways Hotel Dundalk provides transportation to and from the castle.
 
We are also working on group travel from DUB to the hotel(s) and castle, but for now, we ask that everyone plans their own travel to the castle until we know more about guest arrivals.
 
There is a public bus that's pretty cheap that goes from Dublin to Dundalk, and it has a stop that's a 5min walk from Castle Bellingham:

Sam would point out that "formal" attire in Hawai'i is simply wearing your "nice" aloha shirt with a kukui nut lei, and he wouldn't rat you out if you wore that. At cowboy weddings, formal attire is "nice" jeans, a button-down shirt, and a cowboy hat and boots.But this is a castle. If the bride catches you wearing something like that, you will be cast into the outer darkness where there is weeping and gnashing of teeth.So, dress as a civilized man or woman attending a castle wedding for a lord and lady. Suits and floor-length dresses &amp; gowns are advised. Color is also encouraged, because the only thing we would be mourning is your lack of it.
